What wedding florist workshops does CHIC Flowers offer in San Diego?
We offer four hands-on workshops: Personal Wedding Flowers ($350) where you create a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, corsage, and flower girl crown; Wedding Centerpieces ($550) covering tall and short arrangements; Waterfall Bar Floral Installation ($400) for cascading bar pieces; and Floral Chandelier ($800) for suspended overhead installations. All workshops are taught by founder Alona Chasin at our San Diego studio.
Do I need experience to attend a wedding flower workshop?
No prior experience is required for Workshop 1 (Personal Flowers), which is designed for beginners to intermediate levels. Workshop 2 (Centerpieces) and Workshop 3 (Waterfall Bar) are best suited for those with some floral experience. Workshop 4 (Floral Chandelier) is an advanced class. Every workshop includes all materials, tools, and step-by-step instruction.
How often are workshops held and how do I register?
We hold 2 workshops per month in San Diego, typically on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and select Saturdays. Dates are announced 2 months in advance. Register online by selecting your preferred date and completing secure checkout. Class sizes are limited to 4-8 students for personalized instruction.
What do I take home from a CHIC Flowers workshop?
You take home everything you create. In the Personal Flowers workshop, that includes a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, corsage, and flower girl crown. Centerpiece students take both a tall and short arrangement. All workshops include a certificate of completion and instructional materials you can reference later.
Where are the workshops held?
All workshops are held at the CHIC Flowers studio at 770 First Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. The studio is centrally located in downtown San Diego with easy access to parking and public transit.
Can I book a private group workshop?
